The team

The Cookie Therapy was born of the encounter of two young, daring and sparkling designers. One is Belgian, the other French. Françoise and Monika grow up 300 kilometers away from each other in completely different worlds. They don’t know yet that, later, people would mistake them for sisters.

Graduates of famous design colleges, they quickly acquire several years of experience with prestigious brands of ready-to-wear and leather goods such as Kenzo, Christian Lacroix and Lollipops.

One spring day, they meet in Paris and decide to create together a brand of bags through which they can express their humor and sensibility.

Thus was born The Cookie Therapy and its sweet cozy world, filled with childhood memories, rabbits, craft embroidery and cream puffs, Japanese comics and endless tea parties in the garden. Monika dreams of accessories that can be taken seriously without taking themselves too seriously, while Françoise imagines bags as tasty inside as they are on the outside.

The Cookie Therapy is first of all a lifestyle where weakness for delicacies and curiosity are irresistibly forgiven, where one’s eyes always remain blissful and twinkling in front of cartoons and where scratches and scrapes get treated with the magic of Moelleux au Chocolat and golden ballerinas…

Inexhaustible about fashion and cooking, Françoise and Monika assume their off-beat —sometimes even kitsch— style, and offer a world accessible to anyone who wants to play with finesse and derision.
